A look into the future of design with people and Ai

Ai and its ability to design insanely fast while becoming more creative than the average human is rapidly showing itself to the world.

In this talk, we will look at design-at-scale, from individual designers to large organizations. From designing the algorithm that creates the front page at Aftenposten, to how we use systems, patterns, and best practices in enterprise design systems at companies like Laerdal. We will look at how design has changed leading up to the state of design and the capabilities of Ai today and tomorrow.

  • What is our role when Ai becomes our team member?
  • How will our design process change?
  • How can Ai become part of our process, and how is it changing the user experience and interfaces we create?

Let’s dive in together and open our minds to be ready for the future with examples and explorations. You will walk away with new energy, ideas, and a spark to explore and question what is possible next.

Om Robin Klein Schiphorst

Robin Klein Schiphorst is 35 years old, a father of two, and a designer, entrepreneur, and DesignOps coach. He enjoys helping people and organizations design, innovate, and collaborate effectively, and has helped startups launch and large companies design at scale.

He believes that we can «Design the change we want to see in the world, together» and therefore focus on working with companies that solve real challenges in society. He’s been doing this since 2005, working on projects such as news at Aftenposten, health at Laerdal/Helsedata.org, financial education at Unlisted, and child education at Squla.

Since 2015 when his team designed the algorithm that creates the front page at Aftenposten, he has been exploring what the future of design might hold. He is excited to share what ai could mean for design at the conference and meet other like-minded individuals to explore further together.

Robin er opprinnelig fra Nederland, men har bodd i Norge de siste 10 årene.
